Aidas is an independent consultant with 25 years of experience in political and corporate communication. He works at the intersection of civil society and security. For the past eight years, he has advised NATO member states’ armed forces on how to integrate civilian environments into training and exercises. His focus is on making scenarios realistic and preparing forces for complex security challenges.

 

Earlier, Aidas worked as a political consultant in electoral campaigns and as an advisor to public institutions. He supported communication strategies, stakeholder engagement, and policy messaging. He also built expertise in media intelligence: assessing communication efficiency, monitoring disinformation and propaganda, and surveying public biases toward ethnic groups.

 

Today, his main area of work is leadership training and civic resilience. He designs ways to engage and empower civil society actors and supports change management in complex institutional settings. He has facilitated projects in Eastern Europe aimed at reducing bureaucratic barriers to civic engagement. His work connects political communication, social science, and defense training.
