From 22 to 26 September, Louise Biermanski led the planning, execution, and moderation efforts for the 2nd Curriculum Development Workshop of the NATO Executive Resilience Course, conducted at NATO Headquarters in Brussels.
Bringing together governmental, military, and academic experts from about 11 nations, the Second Curriculum Development Workshop focused on refining and validating the overall curriculum structure and core content of the NATO Executive Resilience Course. The objective was to ensure that the course design effectively supports NATO’s strategic priorities while facilitating the transfer of knowledge on key NATO policies and guidance.
Discussions centered on aligning learning outcomes with evolving security challenges across critical infrastructure, energy, transport, cyber, and space domains. The workshop emphasized the importance of civil-military cooperation within a whole-of-government framework, fostering stronger cross-sector collaboration and enhancing societal resilience.
