CPM-I Supports Kognevo’s Crisis-Play Development

Throughout June 2025, CPM-I supported the testing phase of Kognevo's development of CrisisPlay—an AI-powered scenario design platform that helps resiliency planners, trainers, and decision-makers design and deliver crisis exercises.

Five consultants from CPM-I, with diverse backgrounds including humanitarian response, military operations, governmental crisis management, and game design, contributed to this phase. Their input helped ensure the successful completion of testing.

CrisisPlay was evaluated for its applicability across a range of operational contexts. The inclusion of multidisciplinary expertise proved its versatility in addressing diverse crisis scenarios—from individual incidents like a missing child case to large-scale, multi-agency responses such as mass casualty events during major public gatherings.

CPM-I is pleased to continue its informal cooperation with Kognevo, bringing Training & Exercise expertise across the Civil-Police-Military spectrum to support the advancement of timely and effective crisis management training.
