We are curious to hear about your experience working in a Civil-Police-Military context: What barriers to effective coordination between civilian, police and military individuals and entities have you encountered in your professional capacity?
Our CPM-I endeavor started with a fruitful discussion with the #UN Standing Police Capacity. Amongst other topics, we discussed how perceptions and biases of #InternationalPolice in multilateral #PeaceOperations towards the military - and vice versa - may impact effective #MilitaryPolice, #CivilMilitary and #CivilianPolice coordination in the field of #PoC, #Stabilization and host nation capacity building.
Since then, we’ve been further investigating challenges to effective coordination in mission- and non-mission contexts, such as structural, managerial, and command barriers. In 2024, we are keen to continue mapping the barriers to effective civilian-police-military coordination, particularly in the context of different organizational cultures.
This is why we are interested in your individual professional experience in civilian-police-military coordination settings and a fruitful exchange: what barriers have you encountered, so far? Please reach out to us via info@cpm-i.de or through our contact form.
